    Artist Exhibition Series

Creativity and craftsmanship are the red threads that weave through all we do at Strathberry.

Whether it is the inspiration we take from the careful restoration of our Edinburgh Townhouse, the musician’s folio cases that inspired our instantly recognisable Music Bar, or the legacy of the Age of Enlightenment that runs through the veins of our home city, creativity and a sense of cultural curiosity are amplified in all that we do.

With a view to share that cultural curiosity with our wider community, we launch our first exhibition series. By turning our Townhouse’s ground floor showroom into a bespoke exhibition space, we open our home to a variety of Scottish artists, allowing them to showcase their work in an immersive, brand-led experience.

Over the course of the season, three Scottish artists will present new collections incorporating the muted pastel colours and understated yet playful hues from Strathberry’s Autumn Winter collection.

    Siobhan McLaughlin

    17th - 29th August

Siobhan McLaughlin is an artist and freelance curator based in Glasgow. Her art practice combines personal experience of working with compositional and sustainable devices, such as sewing remnant materials, to create non-traditional landscape paintings. Through drawing, printmaking, painting, and installation she explores themes of place, memory, sustainability, and ecology.

    Joanna Perkins

    27th September – 10th October

Joanna Perkins is an abstract landscape artist living and working in rural Scotland. Her work employs vibrant colour and abstraction to encapsulate the essence of the countryside as she experiences it.

Deeply passionate about art education, with a particular focus on simplifying the intricate realm of colour theory and colour mixing techniques, Joanna’s aspiration is to cultivate a diverse community of artists from various backgrounds.

    Hannah Benassi

    1st – 14th November

Edinburgh-based, abstract painter Hannah Benassi works with earthy, pastel tones and layering of textural mediums to create a balance of structural details in soft settings. Her work evolves intuitively from reflecting upon conversations, architectural details, rural landscapes, light, colour, texture, and form, to reflect moments in time.

With free admission for all, visit our Edinburgh showroom this season to view the full exhibition series.
